 घर में स्नान घर हमेशा नैऋत्यकोण के मध्य एंव दक्षिण व पश्चिम दिशा के मध्य में होना, शुभ माना जता है। यदि जगह का अभाव हो,तो पूर्व दिशा में भी बनाया जा सकता है। स्नान घर में यदि एग्जास्ट फैन लगाना हो तो, उसे पूव या उत्तर की दिवार पर लगाना चाहिए। स्नान घर में गीजर हमेशा आग्नेय कोण में लगाना हितकर रहता है, क्योंकि आग्नेय कोण अग्नि तत्व का प्रतीक माना जाता है। ध्यान रखें कि स्नान घर कभी भी पूर्व या उत्तर की दिशा में न बनावायें अन्यथा घर की आर्थिक स्थिति डावाडोल रहेंगी। शौचालय- सर्वप्रथम इस बात का ध्यान रखें कि मकान में शौचालय व स्नानघर कभी संयुक्त रूप से न बनवायें। क्योंकि शौचालय से नकारात्मक उर्जा निकलती है, जिसे अशुभ माना गया है। भवन में शौचालय का निर्माण दक्षिण एंव पश्चिम दिशा के मध्य में करवाना उत्तम रहता है। शौचालय के पानी का बहाव उत्तर या पूर्व की दिशा में होना चाहिए। एग्जास्ट फैन को भी पूर्व-उत्तर दिशा की दीवार पर लगाना शुभ रहता है। शौचालय में शौच करते समय आपका मुख दक्षिण या पश्चिम दिशा की ओर होना चाहिए। कहने का अथ है कि शौचालय की सीट इस प्रकार रखें कि उस पर बैठते समय आपका मुख दक्षिण या पश्चिम दिशा की ओर होना चाहिए। शौचालय का दरवाजा हमेशा बन्द रखना चाहिए एंव शौचालय को कभी भी पूर्व या उत्तर की दीवार से सटा हुआ नहीं होना चाहिए। मकान में शौचालय यदि गलत दिशा में बना है तो घर के अधिकतर सदस्यों को पेट खराब रहेगा एंव प्रगतिशीलता में बाधा आयेगी।
